Don't read this. You won't like it!

Before you don't read this blog, read "A Modest Proposal" by Jonathan Swift. This blog is dedicated to his acerbic spirit and uncompromising willingness to make people hear things they didn't want to hear.

What everybody wants, but are determined not to let everybody have.

Every human being on the face of the Earth wants the same thing, Everyone. And despite the law of supply and demand it could be possible for every human being to have that same thing.

What is it?

It is "the good life." The Greeks called it eudaimonia, "eu" always means well or good, "daimon" is spirit or life.

The world's problems are all related to this universal desire for the good life. Because people are generally unsure what "the good life" might be they are always after it. Some folks believe that they cannot have the good life if others have it too. Some folks believe that their idea of the good life is the only good life anyone should have, often believing that they must help everyone have that good life.

There's a mint to be made by whomever figures out how we can all have the good life at the same time. If we are too stupid as a species to accomplish that then extinction is what we will suceed in accomplishing.

I'll be writing more on the good life in the days ahead.
